Anna Crowe, Founder and CEO
As founder and chief executive officer at Crowe PR, Anna is responsible for the company strategy, vision and execution. A public relations and branding expert, Anna has more than 15 years of integrated marketing communications experience, working with iconic brands such as Capitol Records, AT&T, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Sony, Marc Jacobs, Kenneth Cole, and Jennifer Lopez, to name a few.
Prior to launching Crowe PR in 2014, Anna spent years in senior management roles at Havas Formula and Gable PR, served as a senior marketing manager at AT&T and director of sales and marketing at Los Angeles-based EMI Music Marketing/Capitol Records. Prior to relocating to the West Coast to pursue her MBA in 2005, Anna worked as a senior marketing analyst at global cosmetics leader Coty Inc. in New York City. She started her career in public accounting as a staff auditor for Deloitte.
In addition to her full-time public relations and marketing career, Anna has spent the past six years teaching undergraduate marketing courses as an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego’s School of Business. She has also been actively involved with the San Diego County Medical Society Foundation for the past two years, currently sitting on the organization’s development committee, and is on the board of San Diego-based animal not-for-profit Art for Barks.
Anna holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Rutgers University and an MBA in International Marketing from the University of San Diego. When she is not out building brand awareness for her clients or educating young minds, she spends time enjoying the Southern California sunshine with her husband and two young sons.
Olga Walsh, Associate Director
As associate director at Crowe PR, Olga is responsible for developing client strategy, executing on campaigns and
driving media relations programs. Olga has more than six years of public relations experience, working with a mix of brands in the consumer and B2B spaces, such as Starbucks, Tazo Tea, Microsoft, eBay, Gallo Wines, The James Beard Foundation, Qualcomm, Cymer, KLA-Tencor, and Shure, to name a few.
Prior to joining Crowe PR, Olga served as the senior public relations specialist at the American Council on Exercise, where she spearheaded the organization’s public relations program, managed an external public relations agency and worked closely with health and fitness reporters on story placement for the organization.
She started her career in public relations at Edelman in Portland Oregon, and served in account management and leadership roles at Lane PR and Havas Formula.
Olga holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Oregon. She is actively involved with Girls on the Run and Choice Center Emotional Intelligence and Leadership University, in a coaching and mentor capacity. She is currently studying to become a certified personal trainer and health coach.
When she is not coming up with creative ways to empower brands through media placements or coaching, she enjoys practicing yoga, running, hiking, spending time at the beach and traveling with her fiancé.
Sarah Kinsella, Account Executive
As account executive at Crowe PR, Sarah is responsible for writing, media relations and client support. Sarah has more than three years of public relations experience, driving innovative campaigns and securing top media placements.
Prior to her role at Crowe PR, Sarah served as junior account executive at Olive PR Solutions, where she was responsible for handling all client communication, creating corporate social responsibility initiatives and generating positive media coverage. She started her career in public relations at Havas Formula, working on high-profile clients such as Shure, Monotype, Swyft Media and Virtual Health.
Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations, and a minor in Marketing from the University of San Diego.
When she is not busy building strong media relationships to further the reputation of her clients’ brands, Sarah enjoys running, soaking up the San Diego sun, practicing yoga on the beach, and trying out the best local food and wine hot spots.
Hayley Kerr, Junior Account Executive
Hayley started her public relations career at Remarq inc., working on high-profile clients such as Southern California Honda Dealers, United States Equestrian Federation, and Emerald Duv. She has also worked as a communications intern for The Town of North Hempstead, where she was responsible for community outreach, compiling press coverage, event research, and writing press releases.
Hayley holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in Consumer Behavior from the University of Southern California. There, she competed at the division 1 level, playing lacrosse for all four years.
When Hayley isn’t busy researching and connecting with the best-suited media outlets for Crowe PR clients, she enjoys runs through Balboa Park, Frisbee catches, hiking, visiting with friends, and trying out San Diego’s best restaurants.
