About Laurel

As a Senior Account Manager at Crowe PR, Laurel plays a key role in providing strategic media counsel to clients, leading campaign development, supporting media outreach initiatives and brainstorming big ideas. Laurel has two years of experience in writing, editing and cultivating creativity across various industries, including hospitality, education and tech. 

Prior to her role at Crowe PR, Laurel served as Marketing and Events Intern at the Kansas City Power & Light District, where she was responsible for creating and implementing social media campaigns, pitching unique event ideas and creating materials for event sponsors, including Ford, Miller Lite, Uber, Coors Light and Monster Energy. She also served as a Communication Consultant at the Iowa State University Writing & Media Center and a Communications Intern at the Iowa State University College of Engineering. 

A Midwest native, Laurel holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in event management from Iowa State University. When she isn’t busy securing wins for clients, she enjoys practicing yoga, soaking up the San Diego sun, sharing charcuterie boards with friends and trying every coffee shop in San Diego.
