Anna Crowe
Founder’s Story
A driven, relentless visionary, Anna always had a knack for uncovering opportunities where others saw roadblocks. In fact, her strategic, future-forward mindset has played a key role in her success to-date, as has her ability to couple data with big ideas and innovate in the face of adversity.
Unlike most agency business owners and communications professionals, Anna started her career in the downtown Manhattan office of a Big 4 CPA firm, where she learned financial foundation and the importance of marketing ROI, while auditing major global brands. Her passion for brand strategy, ideation and innovation led her to pursue a global marketing MBA and, subsequently, creative leadership roles. She has spent the majority of her professional life supporting and representing iconic brands like Sony, Jennifer Lopez, Kenneth Cole, AT&T, The Beatles, Coldplay, Klimpton and more.
And while her resume lists notable achievements, it’s Anna’s love for entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial spirit that has fueled and propelled her and her ventures. Anna’s many side hustles started at a young age and continue to this day, with a common theme of disrupting the status quo. She started Crowe PR in 2015 to leverage her communications expertise, financial acumen and ROI-focused approach to grow brands, while developing a best-in-class integrated PR agency that focuses on client success and team development. In her ‘down-time,’ she spreads her entrepreneurial wings in a key leadership role at the San Diego Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization, in partnerships with SDSU’s Lavin Center for Entrepreneurship, mentoring business owners and teaching marketing classes at the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business.
