World’s Best Cup of Coffee Bar

Seasons and holidays lend themselves to ingenious ideas, and one paid off in multiple ways for Crowe PR client The Harpeth Hotel in Franklin, Tennessee. Located just a few miles south of Nashville, where holiday pop-up bars are aplenty, the Harpeth saw an opportunity to bring the festivities to their own town by transforming their coffee bar, McGavock’s Coffee Bar + Provisions.

The Crowe PR team helped brainstorm theme and activation ideas for the bar, and the popular holiday movie-inspired “World’s Best Cup of Coffee Bar” launched in early December 2022, complete with inspired elements and photo opps likening to all the best holiday films.

The bar kicked off with a media and influencer event before opening to the public. The results? 1 million gross media impressions, 884.3K+ influencer audience reach, 200.2K+ likes generated from posts, 405K+ video views garnered, 14 top-tier media placements and 14 user-generated content assets secured. Plus, hundreds of hours of festive fun were had by all!

Halloween Bar at Holston House

There was nothing spooky about the results from a radical idea last Halloween. In October 2022, Crowe PR helped client Holston House brainstorm ways to transform their lobby bar, Bar TENN, into a spooky themed pop-up activation that caused a lot of *hocus pocus* around Nashville. Here’s what happened.

The pop-up bar was kicked off with an exclusive media night with 20 prominent media and influencers in attendance. Following the event, the bar earned more than 750,000 views from Instagram Reel content alone. Tickets for the one-month pop-up sold out in one week. Holston House increased their Instagram followers by more than 4,000 users. The venue increased their food & beverage revenue by 200%+ compared to October 2021.

And, Holston House was featured in major national publications, including Forbes, Mashed and Elite Daily, earning more than 78 million impressions nationally, and more than 90 million impressions in total coverage.
