San Diego Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO San Diego) Welcomes Anna Crowe as 2024-2025 President

Local Arm of Global Entrepreneurs’ Organization Appoints Crowe to Lead Fourth Largest U.S Chapter; Crowe Focused on Further Enhancing Member Value, Driving Engagement, Member Diversification and Regional Impact

SAN DIEGO – July 16, 2024 – The San Diego Chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO San Diego) announced today that it has appointed Crowe PR Founder and CEO Anna Crowe as President for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. A longtime EO San Diego board member and community leader, Crowe seeks to further enhance member value, continue investing in and enabling member growth and building connection opportunities as she steps in to lead the U.S.’ fourth largest EO chapter.

Founded in 1987, the 18,000-member Entrepreneurs Organization has helped thousands of business owners reach their full potential through deep connections, learning and collaboration. The San Diego Chapter has been known to create transformational growth in its members’ lives, enabling entrepreneurs to grow professionally and personally, build successful businesses and positively impact the San Diego community and markets around the world. The local chapter represents over 200 small- to mid-sized businesses throughout San Diego County, with average member business revenues surpassing $6M.

A local entrepreneur and business leader, Crowe joined the EO San Diego community in 2018 through its accelerator program, designed to scale businesses to seven figures. In 2019, Crowe became a part of EO San Diego and, subsequently, the board, holding chair roles in finance, learning, governance and more. During her tenure on the board, Crowe has launched a variety of regional initiatives, including spearheading the creation of the now-annual Young Female Founders Summit in collaboration with the Lavin Center for Entrepreneurship. This impactful event connects young women in the community, ages 10 to 20, with women mentors, while providing tactical tools and lessons to inspire entrepreneurship.

In her new role as president, Crowe seeks to enhance connection opportunities, streamline communications, elevate member engagement and increase member diversity. She looks to amplify regional impact by leveraging the talents, resources and networks of EO San Diego’s members and enabling transformational growth in more entrepreneurs. Upcoming events include learning experiences with world-renowned keynote speakers, authors, and business leaders, as well as once-in-a-lifetime (OIL) social activities and impact-driven events. These include the EO Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) – the premier global competition for students who own and operate a business – an adventurous fundraiser to support Reality Changers and more.

“EO has played an instrumental role in my personal and professional growth for the past six years,” said Crowe. “Being an entrepreneur, a business owner can be difficult at times, and this community is designed to help entrepreneurs thrive. I am honored to have been elected and am looking forward to driving impact for our members, the lives they touch and the greater San Diego community, along with our exceptional board.”

Crowe founded Crowe PR in early 2015 and has grown the business to be recognized as an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing, privately-owned company for the past two years, PR Net Top 100 agencies and SDBJ Best Places Work. She also won San Diego Business Journal’s ‘Women Who Mean Business,’ award in 2022, was listed as a finalist for CEO of the year in 2022, 2023 and 2024, and she has been recognized as San Diego Magazine’s ‘Woman of the Year’. In addition to her role at Crowe PR and EO San Diego, Crowe has spent over 10 years teaching undergraduate Marketing classes at University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business and sits on additional regional and national boards.
